Ludovico Mazzanti (1686–1775) was an Italian painter of the Roman and Neapolitan tradition, a follower of the school of Giovanni Battista Gaulli, called Baciccio. His early work was done in Rome and Orvieto: in Rome he worked with Nicolò Pomarancio at Santa Maria Apollinare, and at Orvieto he designed the upper mosaics of the cathedral façade in 1713–14. He was based in Naples from 1733 to 1740, also working at the Abbey of Montevergine in Campania, and died in Viterbo.
