Claude Lorrain (1600–1682) was a painter of the Classicism, born in Chamagne. He trained under Agostino Tassi and Goffredo Wals. He died in Rome in 1682. Among his documented works are Village Fête, Seaport with the Embarkation of Saint Ursula and Landscape with the Finding of Moses.
