Paolo Veronese (1528–1588) was a painter of the Mannerism, born in Verona. He worked in Mantua, Padua and Treviso. He trained under Antonio Badile. He died in Venice in 1588. Among his documented works are Villa Barbaro, The Baptism of Christ and Christ and the Centurion.
