Mary Cassatt

Mary Cassatt (1844–1926) was a painter of the Impressionism, born in Allegheny. She worked in Egypt, Barbizon and Giverny. She trained under Jean-Léon Gérôme and Charles Joshua Chaplin. She died in Le Mesnil-Théribus in 1926. Among her documented works are The Child's Bath, Little Girl in a Blue Armchair and Woman with a Pearl Necklace in a Loge.
