Juan Simón Gutiérrez (1634–1718) was a Spanish Baroque painter, born in Medina Sidonia. He moved to Seville, where he studied under Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, whose influence shows in his work, and he enrolled in the city's academy of fine arts in the 1660s, later taking charge of its entrance examinations.
Only two signed works by him are known: a Madonna and Child with Saint Augustine of 1686 in the Convent of the Trinity at Carmona, and a Death of Saint Dominic of 1711 in the Museum of Fine Arts of Seville. Other paintings attributed to him are in the Wallace Collection and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
