2 works in the collection

Fernando Yáñez de la Almedina (c. 1475–after 1537) was a Spanish painter, born in Almedina, and one of the most important painters of the early Renaissance in Spain. He travelled to Italy to study, and there became familiar with the work of Leonardo da Vinci. After his return to Spain he collaborated on many works with Hernando de los Llanos. His Saint Catherine of Alexandria, painted around 1510, is in the Museo del Prado. Two works here: Christ Presents the Redeemed From Limbo to the Virgin and Saint Catherine of Alexandria.
