Domenichino (1581–1641) was a painter, born in Bologna. He trained under Denys Calvaert and Ludovico Carracci. He died in Naples in 1641. Among his documented works are Landscape with Hercules and Acheloüs, Landscape with Hercules and Cacus and Saint John the Evangelist.
