Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1828–1882) was a painter of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, born in London. He died in Birchington-on-Sea in 1882. Among his documented works are Ecce Ancilla Domini, Beata Beatrix and Dante's Dream.
