Abraham Bloemaert (1564–1651) was a painter of the Mannerism, born in Gorinchem. He trained under Jean Bassot and Gerrit Hendricksz. Splinter. He died in Utrecht in 1651. Among his documented works are Theagenes receiving the palm of honour from Chariclea, The feast of the gods at the wedding of Peleus and Thetis and A feast of the gods.
