Alfred Sisley (1839–1899) was a painter of the Impressionism, born in former 4th arrondissement of Paris. He worked in France and Paris. He trained under Charles Gleyre. He died in cemetery of Moret-sur-Loing in 1899. Among his documented works are Flooding at Port-Marly, Le chemin de la Machine, Louveciennes and La Place du Chenil à Marly, effet de neige.
